According to Erickson's theory of growth and development a female at the age of 16 years is in a state of identify vs confusion.They are very tender in knowledge,very sensitive, tries to identify self and confused if not directed the right way. So a fidelity has to be established with them. Some of the care which can be planned for the patient are

  • To health educate about the postnatal care because a women after delivery has to regain her normal body function (post natal exercise, diet, rest,expressing breast milk or taking medication to stop secretion along with psychological support)
  • The female has to be given counseling in regards to, how to lead a quality life and proceed in future for success .
  • Educating on not to be in intimate relationship for first few months because the incidence of getting pregnant again is very high.
  • Encourage her for life style management like concentration in education for a better career
  • Administration of vaccines like HPV as per order to prevent infection
