1) I have often encountered in the case of female entrepreneurs. It was indicated that only a woman can serve snacks to a client and that men cannot fall to such a level. I, along with my female and male colleagues stood up and emphasized that each task can be performed by everyone and there is no inferior or superior task. Even family members who are elderly emphasize that household cooking chores is a women's duty, which was clearly questioned by asking, are there such rules in the household and who framed them. Men and women can do all the tasks equally and there is no need to bifurcate such tasks.

2) There is definitely a glass ceiling for women, black people and homosexual business owners. Black people of any sex face the most sort of discrimination followed by women of any colour and then homosexual workforce which is a very recent phenomena. One can imagine how long blacks and women have had to assert their right, which makes one wonder how long would it take for homosexual people to do so.

There exists a glass ceiling because people are unsure of how far changes would occur. Those in power want to assert their hold and feel threatened, to think according to them that the inferior or less able class of people shall rise above them and dismantle their hold over the society.
