- Survey the scene.

- Shake and Shout.

- Call 911/ Locate AED Machine.

- Bare the chest. Locate hand position at the nipple line center of the chest.

- 30 chest compressions in less than 23 seconds, depth of 2in. Allow chest to recoil.

- 2 breaths 1 second each, allow chest to rise and fall.

- Repeat steps 5-6.

#. Long- term care setting :-

- Hello are you okay!?!

- Activate the emergency response system, grab the AED

- Check the pulse (choroidal artery)

- Begin 30 compressions

- Give 2 breaths

- The 1st rescuer

preforms chest compressions and counts out loud

- The 2nd rescuer

maintains the open airway and gives breaths

- Compression rate 2 person cpr-

100 compression/min

- Emergency medical services

- AED -Automated external defibrillator
