I have a question, do you ever think that humans will become apart of the product life cycle? If so, could you please share me your thoughts of why.
SUBJECT: Marketing
Humans will become the part of product life cycle, but humans will be linked to it. It will happen, because humans consume the product and the degree of increase and decrease in consumption, the product moves through its life cycle. Further, it is the growth rate of human population or target audience, that keeps changing. Hence, the duration of stages of the life cycle, also depends upon the humans.
For example, a company produces baby food for younger babies. As the young babies grow and become few years old, then they stop consumption of the baby food. While these humans leave the product, some other young babies become the consumers of the baby food. So, population growth rate is affecting the product life cycle and humans become an important determinant of PLC. Further, products though their PLC goes through the different channels and it operates among the humans. It also associates humans to the PLC of the product.
