Laissez-faire leadership-
It is a type of leadership where the leader allows group members to
take decisions on their own.
This is a high end definition.
When you are leading a group with highly skilled people or managers
the leader generally takes a back seat and let the subordinates
take their own decisions
Application of style: This type of leadership is generally
applicable in political parties, top management and teams with high
or equal skill sets. Leader generally provides outline of target
and the team members have to take their own decisions to reach the
target.
It is not completely means no leadership, since for all decisions
by team members leader has to take responsibility. Hence this style
of leadership is very limited applications.
