All relevant information from border interactions and external sources are reported to customs intelligence units for evaluation and analysis.

2)Police-Daily police work includes frontline staff such as General Duties Officers,police drug squads ,organised crime units and specialist clandestine laboratory teams who aim to seize drugs,arrest drug offenders, and dismantle drug laboratories.Investigations are conducted in a variety of ways and include human source intelligence,survelliance, electronic monitoring and covert deployments.Police and customs deploy a range of interventions and responses along methamphetamine supply chain to disrupt and close down this trade in the United States.

3)Demand reduction- Demand reduction initiatives are designed to reduce an individual’s desire to use drugs.They encompass a wide range of initiatives that aim to delay or prevent uptake, encourage drug-free lifestyles or create awareness of the risks involved with drug use.
