Creative commons is a non profit organization that gives the public right to use the copyright licences and it gives the right to creatives that to share it's work freely and create one own conditions for using the copyright content. Its main motto is to give free copyright licences to public for use and share and Creative commons is basically a non profit organization but it generates revenue through the generous donations, as people are interested in the free copyright content. Creative commons generate revenue through its popularity, number of visitors and through its partners but the major source is the donations as it is a non profit entity.
