What do you consider to be the most important event in Management? Why?

Appointment of new Board of Director or Retirement or resignation of working Director can be considered as the most important event in management. Or, in other words, change in the composition of the Board of Directors is an important event in the management.

Reasons -

1. When new Director is appointed, he will bring along with himself, his skills and past experience, which will definitely going to affect the working and decision making of the management. Also, the goodwill of the firm may also be affected on appointment of new Director.

2. When the working Director retires or gives resignation, the management's next task is to find a suitable director who can fill the post of the vacant director. The retired director's experience, skills and talent cannot be replaced. So it becomes very important for the management to find a appropriate and talented Director.
