can anyone help me with this dosage problem im doing practice problems to get better but keep getting stuck on these types of questions that involve 24 hours if you could please show your work so i can see where im going wrong.

Available dose of Maaxol is 8oz

The "ii" means 2 and "ss" means 1/2 which translates to 2 1/2 ml, or 1/2 teaspoon.

2 1/2 ml = 0.084oz

So,3 iiss means 3× 0.084oz

= 0.25oz of Maaxol has to be given at a time

Total ounce of Maaxol to be given in 24 hrs = 0.252×4oz( four times a day = three times before meal plus at night time ) = 1.008oz
