Labor demanded (Ld) = 420

Labor supplied (Ls) = 580

Size of labor force is 420 (= Ld) and unemployment is 160 (= Ls - Ld = 580 - 420).

(2) Labor force (LF) = Number employed + Number unemployed = 420 + 160 = 580

Unemployment rate = (Ls - Ld) / LF = 160 / 580 = 0.2759 = 27.59%

(3) True

The tax credit will increase labor demand at the minimum wage, reducing unemployment.
