i need to do a report on co sleeping vs crib sleeping.

Baby takes time to learn to sleep alone in a comfortable way.The first sleep of the baby are co sleep followed by crib sleeping

Co sleeping

• The mother or parent sleep in the same room
• Increase the comfort zone of the baby
• Gives the baby a secured feeling even after birth
• It can enhance breast feeding of the baby
• It can increse the sleep timing of parents as well as baby
• Can supervise and observe the baby in middle of the night
• Improves the baby'sdevelopment
• The bond between the couple remains intact
• It can reduce the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

Crib sleeping

• The baby are made to sleep in a cradle
• A sense of fear and insecurity can happen until the child is comfortable using the crib
• Extremely safe from accidental injury ,fall,SIDS
• Should observe the baby while sleeping though it has been framed on the basis of child safety
• Remove any extra cloths,pillow in the crib
• Make sure no sharps or substances in the crib
