LVN works under the supervision of Doctors or registered nurses.Even with the supervision and guidance they look after the patients and aid the aged and debilitated patients in their basic routines of life.They are skilled to do basic nursing procedures too with supervision.They are employed in old age homes,retirement homes, rehabilitation wards etc.The increase in palliative care centers,rehab centres has contributed to a bloom in LVN demand.In most of the families everyone will be working so also demand for a LVN is always there.

LVN have an inevitable role in patient care of our society.They educate,comfort the patients with different disabilities.
