1. 4 to 6 hours we can wait for labor.

Per vaginal examination should be done only for every 4 hour.

Cervical dilation occurs at the rate of 1cm/hour in primi and slighter faster in multigravida.

So it takes 4-6hours for full dilatation of cervix. But for every half an hour fetal well being to be monitoresd by means of fetal movement and heart rate should be monitored. If there is any abnormalities it indicates fetal destress. So that immediately go for LSCS.
