A medicine can act both as a science and art. The aim of medical science is to explore various diseases and the clinical practices done to prove a medicine is simply called as art. If the medicine is both science and art then obviously doctors are scientists and artists indirectly.
When a doctor sacrifices his creativity or dedicated his life for exploring medicines he becomes a scientist and his clinical works to find out the magical side od a medicine can be described as artistic works. When a doctor becomes the art of healing, he is simply an artist in that terms.
