A 40-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer that was successfully treated with Tamoxifen for several months.

Current symptoms shortness of breath, chest pain, flank pain, and fever.

Nursing Diagnosis

1. Ineffective breathing pattern related to chronic stress and abnormal tissue growth as evidenced by dyspnea.

2. chronic pain in chest and back related to abnormal tissue growth in the breast as evidence by patient's verbalization.

3. Elevated body temperature related to abnormal tissue growth in breast and infection as evidenced by increase body temperature from the normal range, fatigue.
