Information technology in health care collect the health information ,store,retrieve and disseminate to other discipline . It enhances coordinated care based on evidence based practice. It also reduces paper work. IT has made huge improvement in the area of nursing area where all health related information collected and stored. If a patient come to the hospital the patient most of the time spend with nurse rather than other clinical team. In clinical practice information technology help to collect the health information to other discipline to provide better care. In our hospital a well settled computer system and can sent the diagnostic measures of patient to the doctors where doctors could not access the patient. The doctor can also consult to the patient based on the result and provide the medicine accordingly and these instruction return throughy the system. It increases the accountability of health care team.
