No, it's not a sad poem even though if this is about a person who is seriously ill ,because the writer is explaining about a life, about an energy that is inspiring and energizing even that weak and sick person about the beauty of air that is helping him to live to love his life
Even though if we will take it to the the scientific way then too the poem is not sad
first line explains it self very well that every bone, muscle of that sick person needs oxygen to srvives as it helps in making 'ATP,' the energy to work and without oxygen every organ of that person will die if we will consider that person's body as earth then oxygen is it's soul. Our lungs and heart are working like a machine the whole day without any rest their sounds can be heard when someone will come down to that person's chest they are like lub dub lub dub. The right atrium is on the upper portion of the hear which collect all the blood and now this collected blood will move through the pulmonary arteries and reaches to the junction know as capillaries that has very thin membrane through which the oxygen will be exchanged to non oxygenated blood.
'What does it has to do with love except everything' heart is the organ that pumps the blood very fastly due to the effect of androgens which makes us happier more happier.
'Now the fire rises and offer's deep red roses of flames'means now the blood is fully oxygenated 'then it settles to quiteude or gratitude as it feeds as we all do 'it means the oxygen will reach to all the organs of our body after binding with heamoglobin

What grouping of revenue do you believe the organization that you work for uses (service line, revenue source, etc.)? Why do you think they chose this grouping?
