* Calculation of mg of drug required per dose.

          Ordered dose = 600 mg/m2/day ( 3 divided doses).

          Child body surface area = 0.7 m2.

mg of drug required = 600 * 0.7

                                     = 420 mg/day.

    Drug is given as 3 divided dose per day.

       So

           mg of drug required per dose = 420/3

                                                           = 140 mg.
