Cover letters should be highly tempting for a company to hire an individual. Cover letter gives a first glimpse of an individual to the company. So following elements should be in the letter:

• proper formatting of the letter so as to make that visually correct.
• A specific recipient should be added by researching about the company and this will signify your interest in that particular company.
• Provide a fantastic introduction to the letter
• A proper benefit of hiring you should be stated in letter as it will make you distinct from others.
• Research about the company and use that information in the letter.
• Good spelling and grammar should be applied
• Keywords should be used so as to make hiring team easy to scan piles of letters.
• Provide new information in letter rather summarising resume.
• be concise
• be relevant
• use custom language in addition to following a set pattern so as to have uniqueness.
• include date
• Provide a solid close to the letter
• thank the hiring team and provide a call to action
• Provide your own address in the header of letter so aa to easily contact you
