Answer:Although there are great advantages of involving evidence based practice in nursing profession. It enables healthcare professionals to provide enhanced quality of care to the patients. There are some barriers such as:

• Shortage of nurses: There is excessive shortage of nurses in most of the healthcare organizations. This increases the workload and burnout. Nurses need to work more than their duty hours and in this case their working efficiency decreases. This also cause lack of time to read journals, attend any kind of conferences as well as they won't get much time to spend in understanding the evidence based research. This can be overcome as increase the staff members required in the hospital.

• Lack of proper internet access: Most of the healthcare organizations doesn't have library or books related to the evidence research. If this could be available in the organization, nurse can easily spend their time in gaining knowledge and can improve their work.
