.Nurses are one of tte professionals who often faces multiple problems It is necessary to solve their problems to ensure smooth patient care. Being in the place of Dental Nurse Manager the steps in problems- solving are

  • Determine what is the problem ,where it arises, how it happens, who are involved, what happens as a result of an action.Identification of the problem from a broader view is the crucial step
  • Then the cause for the problem can be assessed through identifying the problem
  • Planning has to be done ,usually there should be more than one options to select from which could best resolve the problem .Decision making process plays an important role here.
  • After selection it has to be gradually implemented. The best results can be achieved when all are involved with prior information and knowledge. This can enable them to be an active participant .
  • Finally evaluation is necessary to assess the success ,failure, corrections,etc., from the implemented plan.
