Ans) Definition of Toddler:

- A toddler is a child 12 to 36 months old. The toddler years are a time of great cognitive, emotional and social development. The word is derived from "to toddle", which means to walk unsteadily, like a child of this age.

Nutrition of Toddler:

- Avoid battles over food and meals. Provide regular meals and snacks. Be flexible with food acceptance as toddlers are often reluctant to try new things. Be realistic about food amounts. Limit juice intake. Don't use dessert as a reward. Make the food easy for your toddler to eat: Prevent choking.

Medical management of toddlers:

- If you are worried about your toddler, call your health care provider right away. Well-child visits are important to your toddler's health. Routine exams and screenings help you and your kids prevent and treat health problems as well as chart their growth and development.

Check up of Toddler:

- Child will need wellness checkups at ages 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 1/2 years, 3 years, 4 years and 5 years.
