In this experiment Fluoride is added to the water supply of town A; nothing is added to the water supply of town B. Both towns are monitored and compared with regards to the occurrence of new cases of dental caries ( cavities) over a 5-year period.

First of all, it is a community trial because it not done on any specific individuals the experiment s on a city. Second, it's not a clinical trial or therapeutic trail it's a preventive trail because here Fluoride is added to the water and then the researcher going to check any reduction in dental caries.
