The purpose of the study is to identify the Aspirin Resistance Predicts Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Patients with Symptomatic Peripheral Artery Disease. Aspirin is the drug of choice used to manage adverse effects of myocardial infarction, peripheral artery disease, stroke. Majority of patients treated with antiplatelet therapy exhibits positive outcomes where as in certain group patient under aspirin therapy shows recurrent vascular events. The adverse aspirin resistance occurs when there is inability to attain the inhibition of cyclooxygenase with avoidance of platelet thrombaxane formation. It makes the drug to be ineffective to revert vascualr ischemia. Studies has proven that majority of non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs drugs taken by the PVD client interacts with the Aspirin and makes the bioavailability of drug less.
