Answer #1

Cyclizine is a antihistamine drug which is used to treat nausea or vomiting due to motion sickness or vertigo. In this case, patient was resistant to this particular drug.Hence we can not give for continuation of therapy. We need to choose medication which is safe and comfortable for patient.Thereby we can improve the quality of drug therapy.

We can use of Metoclopramide, domperidone, betahistine, Cinnarizine , Ondansetron instead of cyclizine. The above medicines are comes under antihistamine and antiemetic category which all are used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with vertigo, cancer chemotherapy & motion sickness.

I strongly recomend that Ondansetron and domperidone are the better option instead of cyclizine .
