What are some ways to increase patient compliance in care of patients on hemodialysis?
What does this nurse mean by crossing boundaries in patient care? Can you give some examples of crossing personal boundaries? Do you feel we should have restrictions in place to protect these boundaries, and why?
The ways to increase the patient compliance in care of patients in haemodialysis are:
* education, training and behavioural introduction which helps patients gain more information about the dialysis and develop healthy habits.
* offering and arranging the transport for the dialysis
* monitoring of the vital signs to prevent the complications
* complete assessment of patients needs and problems and provide necessary interventions for the same.
The crossing boundary in patient care means action that overstep established boundaries to meet the needs of the nurse are boundary violations. When the nurses cross her therapeutic relationship with patient and has the personal or business relationship.
The examples of crossing the personal boundaries are:
* a nurse receiving the tray of chocolates and cookies after caring for the patient for three shifts in a row.
* nurse sharing the personal details of her to console or ease the patients anxiety
* nurse bring the patients favourite meal or drink before their shift is over to ease their intake
* loaning money to patient and have a Co dependent relationship
* developing romantic relationship with the client
* having relationship with the client or the fily members and becoming very close by offering dinner and going out with them
Yes I feel we must have the restrictions to prevent this such as:
* proper training and education to the novice nurses regarding the importance of therapeutic relationship
* knowing the values and understanding the purpose and creating the boundaries
* create the proper structure
* making priority of the self care.
This boundary setting becomes a very important tool in order to have the better therapeutic nurse patient relationships and to maintain the principles of nursing profession.

discuss the ways in which you feel providing culturally congruent care to patients from diverse backgrounds can help increase patient satisfaction and positive patient outcomes. Provide some examples of this.
What is "cultural competence" in health care? In what ways does implicit bias compromise cultural competence/humility? How do health care provider beliefs about patients, such as paternalistic beliefs about "what is best" for patients, beliefs about patients' capacity to make informed choices, etc., influence patient care? Give examples from the readings and videos, and relate to your practice area. Even if you do not care for dying patients routinely in your practice, reflect on how these issues can have an...

Why should healthcare organizations care about improving patient experience? In what ways does design for execution (efficiency and reliability) and design for experience overlap and in what ways do they differ? Consider different dimensions such as goals, performance measures, performance improvement levers, and incentive systems.
Provide a clear patient care example of a patient scenario and the difference in what care can be administered by a ADN versus that of a BSN. This scenario should showcase how the BSN care is beneficial for both the nurse and the patient, and why these increased educational competencies can increase the impact the nurse can make on the lives of patient through the provision of healthcare.

You will admit the patient from the post-anesthesia care unit and will be assigned as the primary nurse. Since you have two more workdays scheduled, you will be assigned to this patient for a total of three days. Critical Thinking Questions: Answer each question completely and thoroughly. What supplies should...
