Answer #1

Answer : G protein receptors

G protein receptors signaling mechanism best describes the action of drug which involves a coupling protein that in turn activates a separate effector molecule in the cell.

G protein coupled receptors also known seven transmembrane domain receptors ,7TM receptors ,heptahelical receptors ,serpentine receptor and G protein linked receptors constitute a large protein family of receptors that detect molecules outside the cell and. Activate internal signal transduction pathways and ultimately cellular responses .

Coupling with G protein they are called seven transmembrane receptors because they pass through the cell membrane seven times

Q13 Cyanide is a deadly poison that attaches to cytochrome c oxidase, the last protein in the electron transport chain before the terminal electron acceptor. Based on your knowledge of the electron transport chain, which statement below best describes the action of cyanide on the body? A. Cyanide does not allow the Krebs cycle to be completed by blocking acetyl CoA from entering this cycle. This action shuts down the entire process of cellular metabolism. B. Cyanide does not allow...
