Answer: Zolpidem : It is used to treat short term sleeping problem. It belongs to class of drugs known as sedative hypnotic. It helps to fall sleep faster.

Side effects:

  • Dizziness
  • Depression
  • Mood swing

Metatonin : It is used to regulate the sleep-deprived awake cycle.

Side effects:( serious)

  • Suicidal behaviour
  • Stomach cramp
  • Irritability

Valerian: It is good for the use of regulating the sleep disorder.

Side effects:

  • Indigestion
  • Dry mouth
  • Strange dreams.

Diphenhydramine : It can be used for short period of time for the treatment of sleep disorder but in a long term use it causes serious side effects:

  • Loss of vision
  • Stomach ache
  • Depression
