C) the fundamental principle of the diet is that patient with pain need a high protein diet with avoidance of carbohydrate induced episodes of hypoglycemia and weight gain.

It is also intened to promote strength ,movement ,energy and mental function

The dietary supplements also recommended are intened to assist regeneration of tissue and prevent pain.

High protein diet such as meat and pulses beneficial .
