1.2. Mineralcorticoids is a hormone which is synthesized by the adrenal cortex, It plays an important role in maintaining fluids and electrolytes. Therefore the correct answer would be to maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.

2.1,2,3. Glucocorticoids is a group of drug which belongs to the steroid hormones, it helps in reducing the inflammation and suppresses immune system because of which it is indicated in patients with auto immune diseases or disorders. Therefore the correct answer would be anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic and immuno - suppressant. The reason why it also acts as anti-allergenic is because during the allergic reaction the immune system releases certain antibodies to fight the foreign bodies therefore glucocoritcoids is administered in ordered to reduce the inflammation.

3. 3. The nurse will immediately know the patient needs more education after the patient says that he/she should call doctor for sore throat, fever and crummy feeling, as corticosteroids itself is given to treat such cases.

4. 1. Before corticosteroid is administered to the patient, one should take the medical history of the patient as one of the adverse effect of corticosteroid is GI bleeding or risk of developing peptic ulcer.
