Bipolar disorders is a neglected condition that should be improved with treatment and quality of care..The implementation and treatment option depend on individual and local circumstances..it should be shaped and inform decision making..Two qualitative studies used in research with bipolar disorder and associated needs for diagnosis,treatment and recovery..To understand the challenges and needs of people with bipolar disorders,there is a study called mixed methods used to formulate research needs from patient's perspective..focus group discussion(FGD) conducted patient with bipolar disorder and selected group with above 18years..The FGD designed to address challenges with bipolar disorder health care..Clinical assessment conducted throughout the study quantitative review data survey individual with bipolar disorder difficulty with social cognition,facial emotions and social skills performance..No studies can found neurocognitive difference between bipolar I,II, or NOS in pediatric samples..Many studies have found the abnormal structure and functions in bipolar disorder..neurobiological abnormalities have correlated with deficits and structures..
Depression:
Impact with depression at the individual level remain unclear with limitations in the data..Highest proportion of case found between 25 years and 34 years..And highest in females than males..Meta-regression of Dismod-MR found prevalence increased significantly over time..it is provided data driven epidemiological profile of depression with this output..It revealed very low rate of depression in the population..Few longitudinal studies report the incidence of depression episodes focus on capturing the incidence..the new episodes in people with previous episodes not counted and incidence was underestimated..prevalence,duration and increased mortality data to calculate the incidence was used..Dismod-MD desired estimated that higher than prevalence..this will contribute to providing global estimation with epidemiological data..
