Bedside reporting is very important in nursing as it is a strategy for improving the patient safety outcomes. Nursing bedside report allows the assesment by both the oncoming and outgoing nurses for assessing the patients, examining them for any safety errors, and allowing them to be a part of the nurses plan of care. Thus it keeps a record of the patient which is monitored and recorded day and night.
