There are various functions that has been performed by the government so that the economy of the country run properly and systematically are :

• Provide proper and adequate infrastructure for a market to run or function efficiently and systematic wise.
• Provide proper legal system to the business so that economic can flourish.
• Ensures that competition has been flourish in the market so there are less competitors available with them in the market.
• See that information flows freely and systematic wise.
• Protect property rights of the individual .
• Minimize unpleasant side effect such as pollution.
• Control poverty and unemployment from an economy.
