Life style changes and healthy diet , ,reduce consumption of alchohol ,regular exercise,are the best method to prevent diabetes .because,these all will help to maintain the body weight and it assist to enhance the insulin sensitivity also help to prevent the occurrence of diabetes in early age.

in secondary prevention frequent exercise programs can aid to enhance the health.this also will assist to reduce the related disease  of diabetes such as heart disease,arthritis,stroke etc.if the patient do not follow the medications and exercise properly he may get these diseases

in tertiary prevention patient to should take effort to ride the quality of his life which will enable to destruct the symptoms of diseases which is present now.follow proper diet,exercise,medication and follow up will help to get rid off from this disease .

i think it is better to give awareness programs to adolescents through schools and colleges.so that future generations can get free from this disease to a great extent.in This age children are more able to understand the disease and preventive methods easily.

Different teaching methods will be used in health education programs.it includes role play,flash card,projectors,and lectures.This will aid the people to understand the content easily as we can show them how it is occur,which food can be included,types of exercise and consequences of not following instructions.

follow up should be done to find do out that are they follow the instructions which are already given? You can take one of the instructions like  check that whether people follow healthy and balanced diet.are they still having alcohol .check the weight of the people to find BMI .if it is normal then understand that they get your informations otherwise they need more education.
