It can actually be mentioned that in a regression, it is the best estimate of what is going to happen where there are two variables dependent and independent where independent is month and dependent is burglaries and if the standard deviation is high, then there can be a high difference in the estimated value and actual value and therefore here, the estimate is that if the patrol is more, there can be a negative correlation which is not high all in all which makes not much change in burglaries.
