COPD ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) is a disease of lungs that mainly seen in chronic smokers. It continues for a longer period of time and so it is called as a chronic disease. It obstructs the passage of air results in difficulty in breathing that finally leads to lack of functioning of lungs.

As I said, patients with COPD complaints of difficulty in breathing which leads to cyanosis or bluish-colored skin due to lack of oxygen in the blood supply. When blood supply lacks oxygen, initially it affects non-vital organs like finger tips and lips and then it affects the vital organs like heart,lungs and brain.

Huffing is the inhalation of toxic gases, vapors or fumes that is being done to produce behavioral or physical impairments results in slurred speech, difficulty in walking and disorientation.This vaporized intoxicants then reaches the lungs and enters the bloodstream, the patient then develop with hallucination and unconsciousness. For instance, Some adults uses spray or paint to breathe to the point of intoxication. This continues intoxication leads to kidney damages,liver damage and then develops pneumonia or even it affects with permanent failure of lungs.
