In other words, self-care means making positive changes towards things that affect me mentally and physically and upbringing the ones that promote happiness and satisfaction. To function correctly in this competitive world, self-care is a must. Growing up in a developing country, life was not close to easy. During those times, I calmed myself down through meditation, sketching, fictional books and movies along with dance and music which helped my mental health. I try to implement these methods today as well. Physically, I like to choreograph Nepali dances, learn other dances, cook and clean up. A clean environment helps me concentrate and feel calm. I am not a connoisseur of makeup, and other pampers' but would like to try them and decide if it adds on to my self-care practices. I think that an online course is a bonus to self-care as one does not have to worry about being present in class. We can finish our assignments in the middle of the night before the due date or during our breaks at work which makes things easier. Not only this, online courses helps us introverts to avoid crowds and focus on ourselves and our opinions. Adding on to the advantages, I like to take several short breaks and then go through the coursework and repeat the cycle. I think that this variation helps me understand better while having fun and finishing tasks at the same time.
