Medical advancement has brought solutions to most of the diseases but still there are diseases which can't be cured and has a painful prognosis towards death.
Suicide is always considered to be immoral because no one has the right to end their life as it is against nature and law doesn't permit it.
Oregon's Death and Dignity or Death with dignity has provided a law which allows terminally ill patient who can survive for six months or less can get a lethal dose of medication prescribed by their treating provider after proper approval from the government.
Minors who are mature enough can take decision for smaller or simpler diseases but not to end their life.In this type of situation the parents are solely responsible for making decisions after a thorough discussion with the provider
