When the blood glucose levels are 181-240mg/dl then administer 2 units of insulin subcutaneously.

When the blood sugar levels are 241-300mg/dl then 4 units insulin should be administer subcutaneously

When blood glucose levels are 301-400mg/dl then 6 unit insulin we have to give subcutaneously

When the blood glucose levels are more than 400mg/dl then give 8 units insulin stat subcutaneously and repeat blood glucose tests by glucometer after 2 hours.
