I am in the stage of 3 Competent in Benner's Model of Novice to Expert. I have gained three years of experience in the pediatric unit but not specialized to handle the more specific emergency situation. I am working toward the long -term goal of attaining a specialized master degree in the pediatric unit and to develop the skills on that particular field.

Lack of theoretical knowledge interferes with the efficiency of work. Can adapt to the clinical situation and organizational skills but lack of speed and flexibility inhibits the way towards a proficient nurse.
