Patient education tools are the tools which are utilized in order to keep the patient aware about their health conditions as well as the method of prevention of disease and management of the disease. These methods are very approachable and easily understandable by the patient's themselves. The health education which provides accurate information in a very thorough manner plays a very vital role in making the patient and his family members understand about his condition and treatment.

There are various different methods for providing education to the people in the individual , family and community levels.

- YouTube videos, other forms of videos , DVD, CD etc

- PowerPoint presentations

- posters and charts

- flash cards

- models and props

- group classes and educations

- counseling and education from the trained personnel in individual and family level.
