Cancer is an unwanted and uncontrollable proliferation of the cells which is beyond the normal cells productions which will lead to consumption of the nutriemts supplied for other normal cells.

There are various treatments which are provided in order to treat this problem. They are as follow:

1. Surgery:

- the major role of surgery in the treatment of cancer is to remove the cancerous cells with the help of surgery or removing as much of cancer cells as possible.

2. Chemotherapy:

- many different drugs are used in the chemotherapeutic treatment of the cancer cells where the cells are killed with the help of various anti cancer drugs such as anti metabolite agents, cytotoxic drugs etc.

3. Radiation therapy:

- in radiation therapy with the help of high powered energy beams such as x rays , protons etc are used to kill the cancerous cells and can come from the machines which are present inside the body which is brachytherapy or outside the body which is tele therapy.

4. Hormone therapy:

- many types of cancerous cells charged by our body's self hormones which includes breast and prostate cancer. Removal of such hormones or antagonizing their effects may prevent the growth of can er cells.
