Nutritional status of an individual qualified with factors at different levels. both quality and quantity of good consumption which impacts the nutritional status.
Energy balance:
It is an intake of energy and output of energy, it occurs with calories we take from food and drink and using these calories for daily energy requirement.
Nutritional Assessment:
It is a systematic process of collecting and interpreting information that makes finding for nutrition-related health issues and helps for nutrition intervention. It will be done by health care professionals and dieticians to form quality practice.
Malnutrition:
It is a deficiency in nutrition and an imbalance of intake energy and nutrients, it includes undernutrition. malnutrition has 3 groups like undernutrition, micronutrients, overweight and obesity.
Undernutrition:
It is an insufficient intake of energy and nutrients. It will be interchangeable with malnutrion. It has 3 division like stunded, wasted and micronutrients malnutrition,
Hunger:
It is an immediate cause of malnutrition that involves insufficient dietary intake or nutrition deficiency, it prevents the absorption of nutrients in the body.
Overnutrition:
It is excessive consumption of food or nutrients that cause obesity and increase the risk of serious health conditions like cardiovascular disease, hypertension, cancer, and diabetes.
