Klinefelter syndrome is a genetic disorder that results when a male baby is born with an extra setcopy of x chromosome.this syndrome may afeect the testicular growth resulting in smaller testicles than normal which can lead to lower production of testosterone.

Symptoms of this syndrome can not be felt sometimes.in adulthood only men can understand their infertility.

For babies,weak muscles,slow motor development,slow cognitive development can be seen.for teenager,they became taller comparatively,during physical examination small firm testicles can be seen.for men low sperm count is the symptom tht can be seen.

Mosaic form of ks is an extra copy of x chromosome in some of the cells.usually less symptoms appear in this.

Usually men with ks have the probability to have child with testosterone therapy.

FSH stimulates sertoli cells tht the testes produce.thus tht initiation of spermatogenesis occurs.

LH acts simultaneously with fsh acts by stimulating leydig cells.

Pituitary gland synthesize those above two hormones.

Treatment of ks is testosterone replacement therapy.
