Psychosocial problems in children and families

Psychosocial problems are the problems that related to the aspects of psychological and social areas. The main psychosocial problems in children are behavioral and emotinal problems. Behavioral problems are mainly stealing, aggression, inattentiveness, resistance to elders or teachers. Emotional problems are disturbance in parent - child relationship, dramatic emotional outbursts, poor copying skills, low self esteem , inappropriate crying, depression , irrational fear etc. Educational problems also one of the main psychosocial problems in children.

Family's Psychosocial problems includes financial stress, poor social interaction, less physical and mental health( especially during an illness for one family member). substance abuse by family members, domestic violence, loss of accountability, social withdrawal , broken families, divorced parents. These are the common psychosocial problems in children and families.
