Some basic knowledge of the medical terminology, insurance policy, hospital policies, rules and regulation etc.,
Should have a good communication skill yo interact with people without any hindrance
Should have an emotional stability when conversing with patients
Should be aware of what protocols and needs to be met when appealing a denied insurance claim
Can get information from the previous staff who was a collection caller about the responsibilities
