*Poor immune status Risk for infection related to poor immune status.

To reduce the risk of infection

*Daily assess the signs for infection like fever,changes in WBC count,weakness,malaise etc for early identification of infection and begin immediate treatment.

*Use personal protective equipments when doing nursing procedures to reduce the risk for cross infection.

*Assist the patient to maintain personal hygiene to reduce the risk of infection.

*Place the patient in a isolated room to decrease the chance of infection.

*Avoid close contact with an infected person to reduce the risk of infection.

Evaluate the immune status of the patient.
