Kidney failure refers to the body's inability to filter or eliminate the waste products from the body.The patients are very sensitive both physically and mentally .The treatment choice depends in each patients .

  • Encourage the patient to come out with the preferred line of treatment after providing a detailed option about the choice of treatment available
  • Respect the values of patient because certain beliefs and practices may hinder the progress of patient condition
  • The medical treatment lies in the hand of health care professionals but when considering the diet of the patient the preference of the patient is to be considered and planned accordingly
  • The spiritual and emotional community can bring a relief to mental stress and agony
  • The decision on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis depends on patient's wish.
