EHR is a Electronic Health Record system. As the name suggest, it is the recording of data related to health of patient and population in a digital format. This system is designed to share the details of a patient easily with other different health settings. This data includes their medical history, and all other details about their vaccination, allergies, medication, vitals, laboratory results and so on. So in a snapshot, a healthcare professional get details of a patient in a short period of time.

Before evaluating this program, the main objective of an organization to have an EHR system is to reduce financial burden, increase quality of care and to improve patient satisfaction.
