The environmental risk factors which can pose a risk to normal foetal and childhood development are

  • Fast growing unhealthy fast foods
  • Exposure of radiations (smart phones,laptop ,electrical equipment,etc., )
  • During pregnancy if the mother consumes alcohol ,abuses drugs,tobacco use
  • Air pollution ,water pollution  are common factors which could affect the foetus and children
  • Even uses of mobile phones by children's can make addiction of devices,neurological problems like headache,dizzines,vision problems
  • Stress of mother due to personal and external factors like work issues ,financial crisis is an important factor which can affect the foetus
  • Low socioeconomic status being another cause and important factor which can deprive of accessibility and affordability of healthcare to pregnant women in addition to nutritional deficiencies leading to many congenital anamolies.
